In 1990,
Charles Thomas Sr. opened a small cue repair shop at a local pool room
in El Paso, Texas and began doing tips, ferrules, joint work, cue
reconditioning etc. Players soon began asking for more
complicated repairs such as new butt sleeves, building a new shaft,
ring and inlay work etc. As a matter of course, he built his
first cue from the ground up by the end of the first year.
The cue was sold before he could finish a
second cue. Charles Thomas Jr. joined him in 1993 and they
have
been designing and handcrafting cues ever since.
On request, each unique (one of a kind) cue comes with a notarized certificate of authenticity containing your personal information, an image of the cue, the cue serial number, and a description of the cue.
