In 1984, Chuck opened a small cue repair shop in El Paso, Texas and began doing
cue repair - (tips, ferrules, joint work, cue reconditioning etc).  Players soon began
asking for more complicated repairs such as new butt sleeves, building a new shaft,
ring and inlay work etc.  As a matter of course, he built his first cue from the ground
up by the end of the first year.   The cue was sold before he could finish a second cue.
This was the beginning of Thomas Custom Cues

On request, each cue comes with a notarized certificate of authenticity that contains
your personal information, photo of the cue, serial number, and a description of the cue.
